Doug Shipley, Member of Parliament for Barrie–Springwater–Oro-Medonte, was proud to take the oath of allegiance on May 20th in Ottawa.
“It’s an honour to be sworn in for the third time as the Member of Parliament for Barrie–Springwater–Oro-Medonte in the 45th Parliament of Canada,” said MP Shipley. “I’m deeply thankful to the residents of our community for re-electing me, and I remain committed to working hard to serve them.”
MP Shipley was joined at the ceremony by his wife, Lisa, and their two sons, Wyatt and Luke.
“I will continue to be a strong advocate for our community in Ottawa,” he added. “I look forward to Parliament’s return next week. My Conservative colleagues and I are prepared to get back to work.”
